A calm, grounded approach to healing
Helping you feel safe, in your body and clear in your mind.
Meet Linda
I’m Linda, a counsellor, kinesiologist and chiropractor with over 20 years’ experience supporting people to restore balance in their body, mind and nervous system.
I have a deeply intuitive and compassionate approach. My work is centred around creating a space where you fee safe heard and supported.
How I came to this work
My path into this work wasn’t a straight line.
After the birth of my daughter, I found myself physically unwell and experiencing postnatal depression. It was a chiropractor who helped me see the bigger picture — how structure, nutrition, and emotions all play a role in our health.
That experience shifted everything.
At 40, with a four-year-old, I returned to university to study a science degree, followed by a Masters in Chiropractic. Along the way, I began studying kinesiology and deepened my understanding of how the body, nervous system and emotions are connected.
Over time, I realised that many of the challenges people face aren’t just physical. They’re shaped by life experiences, stress, and emotional patterns that the body continues to carry.
This led me to counselling, so I could support the whole person — not just the symptoms.
The Blue Room Philosophy
I love the ocean! It has always been a place of calm and perspective for me. For me, living near and swimming in the ocean has always been a place of quiet, peaceful space, hence: the blue room – a moment where everything becomes still, clear and balanced.
When the nervous system is under stress, life can feel overwhelming and out of balance. Just as the vast ocean is not always calm and there are storms on that ocean, my intention is to create a space where you can pause, breathe, feel supported and reconnect with the knowing that this storm of life can pass.
A holistic and evolving approach
My approach is gentle, structured, and grounded in real life.
I draw on a range of approaches including counselling, kinesiology, nervous system regulation and practical tools to support you in everyday life.
You’re always in control of the pace. We work with what feels safe and manageable, one step at a time.
This work is guided by a few simple values — showing up with honesty, creating a space where you feel understood, and supporting your overall wellbeing in a way that feels real and sustainable.
